1/14/19 THE LATEST EXAMPLE...I was at Fry's electronics in Palo Alto and a latino guy at the door who is supposed to check bags & receipts had SUCH A HAUGHTY attitude, looking me up & down...deciding how to "handle" me...I didn't buy anything..I had just gone in to see if they had any pocket radios...& didn't find what I wanted.. , so I'm leaving, and he looks me up and down in a highly judgmental way, and then he says "Okay Boss" with so much condescension it was SICKENING.
Dude, I was respectful...just trying to leave..if you like being in charge as the guy who judges people at the door that's your business, but keep your comments and terms of condescension to yourself. Don't be cowardly. Just say, "thank you sir" or nothing at all. And if you don't like your job, you know what you can do,
...the American way, go back to school, finish high school or college, and get a better job. Don't just cowardly mock people who have done better than you...I didn't inherit anything..I just stayed in school and worked my way up..anybody can do it from any background or race or skin color,
...but if you DON'T BELIEVE it , you will never get there and will remain a snarky low-level employee who mocks others the rest of your life. Don't be a coward. Go back to school.
Have some courage to go to the classroom every day and stand in front of others and give presentations, and do homework and allow it to be judged by a teacher or professor for what it's worth, and humbly learn from others, taking your turn, and sooner or later things will work out for you..;
if you had a bad experience wherever you came from try another institution.. rather than be bitter your whole life.
You can do it dude. But don't take out your anger on others in a snarky weasly manner.
